My name is Maura M. Wane, and like some of you visiting this site, I am an adoptee. I have been searching for my birthmother, for about 10 years, and just recently started using the Internet, to help in my search. So I decided to build my own Web Site, devoted to helping others, in their ongoing search, and maybe together, we can all find what we seek. |

Hello, my name is Michael R. Wane, and incase you have not guessed, I am Maura's husband. I have watched, and witnessed in the last 10 years the frustrating attempts, for her to locate her birthmother, and have watched as one trail after another, has turned into a dead end. She has recently discovered, the Internet, and has turned her attention to the many databases, around the country, and even world, in hopes of turning up something. Due to the fact, that we could not find anyone single site, devoted to listing the various resources, she asked me to help her create one, our fervent hopes, and prayers, is that this site, changes, both the course of someone's life (by offering them the help and guidance they seek), and just maybe if we are very lucky, change a few minds up on the HILL, so that the antiquated law system, which governs, the exchange of information, for adopted children, searching for their biological parents, will hopefully be changed in favor of reunification of families, rather, than the continued, seperationist beliefs currently envogue, in at last count 46 of these United States of America. |
